Judith Kearney

Dr Judith Kearney is Regional Vice President, Australasia, Global University for Lifelong Learning, based in Queensland, Australia.
Judith is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Community Partnerships at Griffith University and researches in the areas of English language and literacy development. She has a particular interest in supporting the achievements of children from cultural and linguistic minority groups in low-income communities.
Dr Kearney has extensive research experience working with schools to promote the professional development and practice of teachers and in recent years she has been involved in a series of community development projects in partnership with the Pacific Islander community of South-East Queensland. Judith is currently facilitating a community development process for the Samoan community in her region.
