Ruddy Alexander Khani

Dr Ruddy Khani is Vice President, Jamaica, Global University for Lifelong Learning, based in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Ruddy is General Manager of the Wexford Hotel, Montego Bay catering to a wide cross-section of corporate Jamaica and internationally, to tourism for more than thirty years. He also leads Hospitality Advancement Training and Technical Services (HATTS) in affiliation with GULL. Prior to his current roles, Dr Khani was Group Manager in charge of Purchasing and Cost Control at Sandals and Beaches Resorts and he earlier held the positions of Purchasing Manager, Food and Beverage Manager and Financial Controller with Sandals. Ruddy was also a special consultant at the Half Moon Golf ,Tennis & Beach Club, Montego Bay for more than five years. He currently serves as a Justice of the Peace, and Lay Magistrate in the Parish of St. James, Jamaica and he is the author of two books.
As a Group Manager at Sandals and Beaches Resorts, Dr Khani gained extensive training experience working with cost controllers, purchasing managers, storeroom managers, receiving clerks, and storeroom clerks in the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, St. Lucia, Antigua and Jamaica. He also conducts training for the employees of the Wexford Hotel on food and beverage procedures, control procedures, purchasing, receiving and storeroom procedures, customer service, and supervisory skills.
