At the invitation of Dr Vinnie Jauhari, Director of the Institute for International Management and Technology, Gurgaon, India, Richard Teare gave several presentations at the 5th International Conference on Services Management in New Delhi. Among these, Richard outlined the case for an inclusive global framework for lifelong learning and GULL’s response.

Towards an agenda for applied research & development
Worldwide Hospitality and Tourism Themes (WHATT) – published outcomes

An objective of the conference was to explore service industry challenges and develop an agenda for applied research as a basis for industry-education collaboration. The discussion and conference outcomes will be published in a WHATT theme issue, a journal established by Richard Teare to facilitate this kind of partnership.

The Institute for International Management and Technology (IIMT) is of India’s most innovative educational providers and IIMT’s leader, Dr Vinnie Jauhari is keen to utilize the GULL action learning system and process in order to develop a community and work-based agenda for learning and development in India.
