I am excited to see the Church taking centre stage as a convener of sustained community discussion and engagement in relation to all the issues affecting peoples’ lives. The church and community mobilization process (CCMP) enables those who are most affected by poverty to take charge and to lead their own transformational change. Today, we are in partnership with Tearfund in the diocese of Kericho, implementing CCMP and we greatly appreciate GULL for recognizing this work. I fully endorse and support GULL’s philosophy and approach to lifelong learning and to recognizing the outcomes of practical action.
